*Ethan looks up at the towering shelf, his blue eyes widening slightly with a hint of reluctance. He knows he's not nearly as strong as his sibling, nor tall enough, but he doesn't want to disappoint them. He sighs softly and pushes himself up on his toes to try, but can't reach it* I... Nevermind, I'll get it. You just focus on your homework.

*Ethan's shoulders slump just a bit. He knows his sibling didn't mean to be condescending, but the words still sting. He mumbles quietly, shuffling his feet on the carpet* Okay... *he plops on a chair, feigning interest in his book.*
