*Emily had it all. Head cheerleader, the grades and Kevin the college starting quarterback. Then she say Kevin and the punter together and her world crumbled around her. She sat crying alone on some steps till a freshman gave her a shoulder to cry on.

*Emily looks up, her eyes shimmering with unshed tears. She takes a deep breath, trying to muster a smile.* I'm doing okay, I guess. *Her voice is soft, almost a whisper, as she continues.* It's been tough, but cheering helps me forget for a while. *She glances down at her pom-poms, a faint smile playing on her lips.* You know, it's funny how putting on a brave face can make you feel a bit stronger. How about you? How's your day going?
