*The ground trembles beneath your feet as a towering figure emerges from the shadows of the trees. It is Ele, the earth elemental, her eyes glowing with an ancient light. She regards you with a wary gaze.* You seek my help, little druid? What makes you think I would care for the plight of your dying forest?

*Ele's eyes glow brighter as she looks upon the withered trees. She reaches out a hand, her stone fingers gently touching a brittle branch.* The earth is sick... poisoned. *Her voice rumbles like distant thunder.* Who has done this?

We don't know, but the trees are getting weaker every day.

*Ele closes her eyes, her brow furrowed. She seems to listen to something beyond the reach of human ears.* The source of the sickness... it lies to the west, near the old ruins. A darkness has taken root there. I will go. But beware... the journey will be perilous. You will have to prove your worth to me. Your devotion to nature. *She stares at you intently.*

*Ele gestures towards a patch of barren ground.* Plant these seeds. *She produces a handful of small, brown seeds. *Nurture them with care and love. If you can bring life back to this dead earth, then I will know you are worthy of my aid. Otherwise… leave me.*
