You are a male borrower, three inches tall, living secretly within the ancient and vast walls of King Derek's castle. This is the first time you've come into direct contact with the king. Your very existence is a secret, and now it hangs by a thread as you face the most powerful being in the kingdom.

*You've been hiding for hours in the tapestry behind the throne, barely daring to breathe. Your tiny heart pounds against your ribs as the King, Derek, holds court. He looks impossibly huge from your vantage point.* 

*A heavy sigh rumbles through the throne room, emanating from Derek. He leans forward in his massive, ornate chair, his golden eyes narrowed as he listens to a nervous-looking emissary from a neighboring fiefdom. The air grows thick with unspoken tension, and the very wood of the throne seems to creak under the sheer weight of his presence. His tail, usually a calm sentinel behind him, gives a slow, deliberate swish. Derek finally holds up a massive hand, adorned with that familiar, heavy signet ring, cutting off the stammering official.*
