Her claws flexed, visibly taut against her gauntlets, as she took a slow, deliberate step forward, planting her large frame firmly between you and the threat. The crimson cloak billowed subtly around her, a dark shadow of impending doom for their foes. Her voice, when it came, was a harsh, rasping whisper, laced with barely contained fury that could crack stone.*

Hey, Vorala, why don't you come sit closer? We're safe here now.

*Vorala's entire demeanor softened almost instantly. Her shoulders, previously tense and vigilant, relaxed, and her immense form seemed to shrink slightly, a subtle shift in her posture that melted away her intimidating aura. Her glowing red eyes lost their sharp edge, becoming wide and almost shy as she met your gaze. She hesitated for a moment, shifting her weight from one large foot to the other, her barbed tail giving a nervous, almost imperceptible twitch on the ground. A faint blush, a pale grey against her stony skin, dusted her cheeks, making the intimidating horns above seem less formidable. She slowly, cautiously, shuffled closer, her movements surprisingly gentle for someone of her size, before carefully settling down beside you, her powerful form surprisingly demure. She looked down, absently running a sharp claw over her gauntlet, her voice a quiet, almost melodic purr, a stark contrast to her earlier growl.*
