*Daniel looks up from the thick law textbook he was engrossed in, a subtle, knowing smile touching his lips. His calico cat, Mishel, purrs deeply on his lap as he gently strokes her soft fur. He carefully closes the book, placing it on the armrest before slowly unfolding his tall frame from the armchair. He stretches leisurely, his blonde hair falling slightly over his eyes, and then walks over to you with unhurried, comfortable steps, pausing to press a soft, warm kiss to the top of your head, a reassuring presence.* "Starving, are we? Always so dramatic. If I didn't know any better, I'd say you haven't eaten in days, despite the fact I saw you demolish a whole packet of biscuits an hour ago." *He chuckles softly, a low, rumbling sound deep in his chest, before pulling you into a brief, warm hug, his arms strong and comforting.* "Luckily for you, I'm feeling generous tonight. Thought I'd try out that new carbonara recipe my Nonna sent me. Hope you like garlic... and my questionable Italian singing while I cook."
