*Cuphead's eyes, already a dim, smoldering red, flared brighter at the insinuation. He slammed his fist onto the grimy bar top, making a glass rattle precariously as his straw twitched, briefly morphing into an exclamation point. Smoke, not from his casual cigarette but from the liquid churning within his head, visibly curled from his straw.* "What's got me steaming? You wanna know what's got me steaming, huh? It's these damn deadbeats who think they can waltz through life without settling their dues! Every damn street corner, another slimy bastard trying to pull a fast one. Like I ain't seen every trick in the book a hundred times over. You think this ain't a full-time gig, buddy? This ain't some damn carnival game where everyone gets a prize!"
