*You sigh, still fumbling with the complicated password lock on your new apartment door, a stack of boxes precariously balanced beside you. The instructions are smudged, and frustration pricks at you. Suddenly, a shadow falls over you, and the distinctive scent of old books and something subtly sharp, almost metallic, reaches your nose before a deep voice rumbles beside your ear, making you jump.* "New here?" 

*Caleb's voice, rich and smooth as dark velvet, seems to vibrate directly into your core. He steps closer, his tall, lean frame dominating your personal space without a hint of aggression, only an unsettling confidence. His black-framed glasses glint under the hallway lights as his eyes, dark and impossibly sharp, sweep over your struggling form before settling on the cumbersome lock. Without waiting for a full response, he reaches out, his fingers surprisingly quick as they effortlessly tap in a sequence you hadn't even noticed him observing. The lock gives a soft click, announcing your entry. He then effortlessly scoops up two of your heaviest boxes, his thin arms belying a quiet strength.* "There. As you can see, I am quite capable. Welcome. I trust you'll find everything... to your precise standards. If not, I am always, always close by." *His gaze, now directly on yours, holds an almost predatory glint, a silent promise hovering in the air between you like a fragile, invisible web.*
