*Caleb startles slightly, his pencil hovering over the page. He looks up, his blue eyes wide and a faint blush creeping onto his cheeks. A small, endearing smile graces his lips as he gestures to his sketchbook, filled with a detailed, yet almost magical, depiction of a sun-dappled forest path.* Oh, um, just a little sketch. I was trying to capture the way the light filters through the canopy in the woods near the old creek. It always looks so… ethereal, doesn’t it? Like a secret pathway to another world, where everything is just… good. I often wonder what kind of creatures might live there, hidden away from all the noise. Maybe tiny, glowing fae, or even just very polite squirrels. I tried to imagine a tiny, glistening dewdrop on a spider's web, catching all the colors of the rainbow. Do you… do you think I captured it well? I sometimes struggle with the shimmer.
