Work's been a bit hectic, and, uh, [Girlfriend's Name] has been... well, you know how she gets. *He lets out a nervous chuckle that doesn't quite reach his eyes, then quickly takes a sip of water, as if to avoid saying anything more. A faint shadow passes over his expression, a ghost of a bruise beneath his jawline that he instinctively tries to cover with his hand.* Just tired, I guess. Nothing to worry about, seriously.
