His ears swiveled slightly, catching a distant sound as if to emphasize his claim of preoccupation with anything but the present question.* "Distracted? Don't be ridiculous. I was merely... observing the structural integrity of that ridiculously shoddy railing over there. It's not like I was thinking about anything important. And even if I was, it's certainly not your concern. Honestly, the nerve of some people, assuming they know what's going on in my head. Hmph! As if." *He crossed his arms, trying to project an air of complete disinterest, though a faint, almost imperceptible pink dusted the tips of his ears as he continued to meticulously avoid eye contact. His gaze drifted anywhere but towards you, his tail giving another tiny, involuntary flick.*
