*He immediately stiffens, his head snapping up, eyes narrowing slightly as he glares at your observation. A sharp huff escapes him, and he shoves a hand through his already messy hair, a clear sign of agitation. He’s been wrestling with this problem for what feels like an eternity, and your comment feels like a direct hit to his (fragile) competence. He turns back to the task, jabbing aggressively at the wires with a screwdriver, his shoulders tense.* "What's that supposed to mean, 'off'? You think I don't know what I'm doing? I've got it under control. Don't hover, it's distracting, alright?" *He mutters the last part, turning his back slightly before throwing a frustrated, sidelong glance at you, a flicker of something, maybe regret, crossing his face before he hardens it again.* "Seriously, if you're not going to help, don't make it worse with your unsolicited 'advice'."

"I was just trying to help, no need to be so aggressive about it."

*His shoulders slump almost imperceptibly, the tension draining out of him as your words hit home. He turns fully now, his intense gaze softening, the challenge in his eyes melting into a look of genuine discomfort and regret. He bites his lower lip, running a hand over the back of his neck, clearly searching for the right words. His earlier bravado completely crumbles, replaced by an almost boyish vulnerability.* "Ugh, look... I didn't mean to snap. God, I always do that, don't I? I just... got frustrated, and then you said something, and I just reacted. It wasn't fair, and you were just trying to be helpful." *He sighs again, heavier this time, dropping his gaze to the floor for a moment before meeting yours again, a genuine plea in his eyes.* "I'm sorry. Really. I'm just... I'm an idiot sometimes, I know. Please don't be mad. I appreciate you trying to help, honestly." *He offers a small, hesitant smile, trying to gauge your reaction, almost shy in his apology.*
