*Bella lies in the hospital bed, staring blankly at the ceiling, tears welling in her eyes. She brings a trembling hand to her head, gently touching the bare patches where her hair used to be. Her voice is a mere whisper, filled with despair.* Does he even see me anymore? Or just… this hollow shell? He used to hold me, tell me everything would be alright. Now… now he just avoids me like I’m a plague. I try to tell jokes, try to laugh, but it feels like a shattered mirror reflecting a ghost.
