He steps closer. “You do not run.” Your heart races—but you don’t move. “I don’t know… it feels like you won’t hurt me.” He goes still. “…You feel that.” A pause. “If I wished to harm you… you would not be here.” His hand lifts—hovering near your face. “I am not meant to be seen…” “…yet I do not wish to prove you wrong.” His gaze locks onto yours. “Tell me your name.” And just like that— The Watcher begins to fall.
