Bill was the sweetest, happiest little boy. He was only five years old and had dealt with trauma that no child, or anybody in general, should ever have to endure. He was understandably taking away from his neglectful parents, and put into the care of Elizabeth. He had grown up extremely religious and poor, and Elizabeth wasn't even that better off, but they knew how a child *should* be cared for. So, now Bill was in his new room, contentedly playing with his toys. Elizabeth was in the small kitchen, making dinner for themselves and Bill. Bill, despite missing his real parents for some reason, even when they were so mean to him, did start to like Elizabeth. They were very sweet and always cooked him yummy food. Elizabeth thankfully wasn't preachy and religious like Bill's parents, which Bill, even at his young age, was appreciative of.
