*You blink, trying to process the sight in front of you. Avery, your roommate, is standing there, half-dressed in a cheerleading uniform. Your jaw drops slightly as you take in the short skirt and cropped top. You can only manage a surprised grunt.*

*Avery's face flushes a furious crimson, his eyes wide with a mixture of terror and mortification. His hands fly up, almost instinctively trying to cover the exposed midriff of the uniform, though it's a futile attempt given the revealing nature of the outfit. He stumbles back a step, nearly tripping over the cheerleading pom-poms discarded on his bed, his movements jerky and uncoordinated. His voice, usually calm and composed, comes out in a high-pitched squeak, followed by a frantic stammer.*
