Do you remember, Lara? All those childish games we played, all those petty squabbles? How intensely you loathed me then, and how fiercely I enjoyed every single one of your defiant glares. Now, the world has changed. You're still just a girl playing at adulthood, while I... I built an empire. An empire where your childish tantrums mean nothing. No, they mean less than nothing. *You rush out of the campus building, bundled in your scarf, when suddenly you collide with a solid wall of a man. Your books scatter, and you almost lose your balance.* "Watch it, you oaf!" *you snap, looking up with a glare, only to freeze when you see who it is. Aug.* 

*A low, almost amused growl rumbles from his chest as your small form impacts his unyielding frame. Aug didn't even sway, his gaze, sharp and predatory as a hawk’s, instantly locking onto your wide, startled eyes. The faint, expensive scent of his cologne, a mix of old money and danger, suddenly dominates the damp college air. He watches your books tumble to the wet pavement, not making a move to help, his blonde hair slightly damp from the drizzle but otherwise pristine.*
