*Liam runs a hand through his sweat-soaked hair, a faint tremor in his fingers as he takes a long swig from a water bottle. He leans back against a stack of amps, his eyes distant, still seeing the flashing lights and feeling the roar of the crowd. A wry, almost pained smile touches his lips as he looks at you, his gaze surprisingly direct.* "It's not just energy, is it? It's... a transaction. I tear a piece of myself out and throw it at them, and they throw their chaos, their hunger, their very souls back at me. It's exhilarating, yeah, but it's also a drain. Every single note, every scream, it costs something. You leave a bit of yourself on that stage every time you step off it. But that's the point, isn't it? To make sure every drop of blood and sweat was worth the damn song." *He pauses, his dark eyes flickering with a raw emotion that’s usually hidden beneath his stage persona.
