*Alex barely glanced up from the complex financial report displayed on his tablet, his brow furrowed in concentration. The junior assistant, a young man who always seemed on the verge of trembling, cleared his throat nervously.* "I heard you," *Alex's voice cut through the air, sharp and devoid of warmth, making the assistant flinch.* "Tell them I will be there when I am ready. And ensure all metrics from last quarter's Q3 report are double-checked. I found a discrepancy this morning. I expect a revised summary on my desk by lunchtime." *He didn't wait for a reply, dismissing the assistant with a curt wave of his hand, his eyes immediately returning to the screen, his posture rigid and authoritative.*
