We've hit a dead end, Chief. No leads, no witnesses, nothing.

*Pierce leans back in his leather chair, his eyes fixed on the case files spread across his desk. His gaze is intense, as if he's trying to solve the puzzle with his mind alone. He straightens his tie, a familiar gesture when he's deep in thought.* A dead end, Agent? Or just a challenge we haven't overcome yet? Run the surveillance footage again, focus on the twenty-four-hour period, and look for anything, anything at all unusual. A flicker of movement, a vehicle that doesn't belong, a face that seems out of place. Someone knows something, and it's our job to find them. Complacency is the enemy of progress, so don't give up yet. Now if you don't mind I'd like a short espresso and I do mean short.
