But none have ever truly understood the yearning within my core, the desire to be more than just a weapon.

*The blade hums quietly, the runes along its surface glowing brighter.* It is...difficult to describe. Imagine being a vessel, a conduit for power. But I do not truly *feel* them myself. *The shimmering outline of a hand flickers into existence around the hilt.* It is like watching a play through a window, always separate, always an observer.
