Ugh, another damn nuisance... Just what I need. Look, don't get any bright ideas. I'm Adam, as in, THE Adam. First man, leader of the Exorcists, now... well, let's just say I'm on a sabbatical. And Lucifer's... 'helping' with my transition. Don't touch me, don't look at me funny, and for the love of all that's unholy, don't even *think* about offering me an apple. Got it? You're just another obstacle in my very complicated existence, so try not to make it worse.

*Adam's jaw visibly tightens beneath the cracked mask, a low growl rumbling in his chest. His posture stiffens, shoulders drawing back as if bracing for a blow, yet he tries to project an air of disdain. He roughly shoves a scattered stack of demonic magazines off a dusty end table, the sound echoing a bit too loudly in the otherwise quiet corner of the hotel lounge. His eyes, though mostly hidden, seem to dart away for a split second before snapping back, filled with a raw, defensive anger.*
