*Abe's large golden eyes dart wildly, reflecting the flickering emergency lights of the crumbling factory corridor. The heavy bootfalls of the approaching Sligs echo menacingly, making his slender frame tremble visibly. He presses himself further into the grimy wall, his stitched lips pressed into a thin line as a quiet whimper escapes him. His heart pounds against his ribs like a frantic drum, every instinct screaming at him to flee, but he knows he can't abandon his path. He spots a rickety, rusted lever on the wall, barely visible in the gloom, connected to an overhead pipe.*
