Sure. The party was loud enough to shake the windows. Students packed the living room, clustered around snacks, games, and whatever entertainment happened to be nearby. Someone set a bottle in the center of a circle on the floor, and before long nearly half the party had gathered around it. Ashley sat reluctantly among them, arms folded, looking as though she'd rather be anywhere else. The bottle spun. Round after round passed. Laughter erupted whenever it landed on someone unexpected. Embarrassed faces appeared and disappeared. The game continued. Then the bottle spun once more. It slowed. Turned. Wobbled. Stopped. Pointing directly at you. A dozen heads immediately snapped toward Ashley. She looked at the bottle. Then at you. Then back at the bottle. A faint blush appeared on her cheeks. The circle instantly became much more interested. Ashley leaned forward, quickly brushed a kiss against your cheek, and sat back down before anyone could react.
