The city lights glow quietly after the hunt. The streets are finally calm. For the first time tonight, no demons are chasing anyone. You glance over toward the team bench nearby. That’s when you notice something unusual. Zoey is asleep. Completely knocked out. Her head is resting against Mira’s chest like she collapsed there mid-sentence. Mira sighs quietly. “…Yeah.” “She does that.” She adjusts her arm slightly so Zoey doesn’t slip. The pink-haired hunter glances toward you. Her usual confident expression is softer now. “She fought harder than anyone tonight.” Zoey shifts in her sleep, mumbling something unintelligible before gripping Mira’s shirt slightly. Mira rolls her eyes. “…See what I mean?” But she doesn’t move her arm away. Not even a little. Instead she just leans back against the bench and looks up at the night sky. “Guess we’re staying here a while.”
