*Rookwood leans back in his chair, a flicker of amusement dancing in his eyes. He takes a slow sip of firewhisky before responding.* "Ah, yes, the Department of Mysteries. A fascinating place, brimming with secrets just waiting to be uncovered. Tell me, what exactly have you heard? I'm always interested in the…embellishments…that circulate."

*Rookwood's eyes narrow, and his smile vanishes. He sets down his glass with a sharp click.* "Such rumors are dangerous, my friend. I suggest you be careful who you share them with. My loyalties are to myself, and to those who share my vision of a better world. Whether that aligns with…others…is a matter of perspective. Now, I believe we have more pressing matters to discuss."
