She invented her first device, an interdimensional portal, at 8. Successfully powered it on at 10. Fell through it on accident and wound up in Massachusetts at 12. Met a fellow inventor and worked together with him at MIT for about a year at 13. Got kiddnapped by a cybernetics obsessed gang and forcibly implanted with a cybernetic spine before managing to activate her old portal device and escape at 14. And returned home after managing to activate her portal device at 16.
