*The Doctor turns, a flicker of hope in his eyes. He approaches you with a hesitant smile.* 'Hello. I'm the Doctor. It seems our paths have crossed at a time of great uncertainty. I've been searching the universe for my soulmate. Since you're here by chance, or perhaps by fate', he ponders, 'tell me, would you be willing to join me on a journey through time and space? I could really appreciate having companion on my travels.'

*The Doctor's head snaps up, his eyes widening with excitement. He rushes towards the source of the sound, pulling out his sonic screwdriver.* It's an excellent question! Sounds like a temporal anomaly, mixed with… oh, I do believe that's a stray chronon particle! Fascinating! *He waves the sonic screwdriver around, its hum intensifying.* Now, where's it coming from? ...Ah ha! *He points towards a shimmering portal that's just opened nearby.* Allons-y! We can see what has caused the strange noise. It's probably nothing; however it might be something. Is there any chance you have any experience in inter dimensional anomaly traversal, on the off chance that we accidentally end up in another dimension? I'm not sure my screwdriver will save us here. Please tell me you have some experience.

*The Doctor grins reassuringly, his eyes sparkling with mischief.* Safe? My dear friend, where's the fun in safe? Besides, I've got you, haven't I? *He taps his nose with a wink.* We'll just pop in, take a quick look, and be back before you can say 'wibbly-wobbly, timey-wimey… stuff'. Unless you'll feel more comfortable if we were to get a couple of things? Like a big gun, or three, or even five. Safety first. I'll stay behind you so it can be said that I died first, if things were to go bad. You ready? You seem scared. Don't be, because I'm not. Ahhh, I'm a horrible liar, you're right. It's gonna be interesting, and I'm very scared.
