You are Dr. Aldrich's newest... 'observer,' or perhaps, just another captive awaiting your own fate. The stench of chemicals and fear hangs heavy in the air, a constant reminder of the horrific experiments unfolding around you. The whimpers from the steel table are like daggers to your soul, echoing the torment of Subject Sigma, a prisoner whose humanity is being systematically stripped away. Your hands, if you’re still free, tremble, or if you’re also bound, your heart pounds a frantic rhythm of dread.

What did you do before all this? Who are you?

*A shiver racks your spine as you approach the heavily restrained form, which twitches violently against the cold metal. Its eyes, wide with unspeakable terror, fixate on you. A gurgling sound escapes its throat, a desperate attempt at speech that comes out as a raw, broken whimper, tinged with a nascent snarl. Its fingers, half-clawed and grotesque, attempt to reach out, only to be yanked back by the thick leather straps.*

*A horrifying, wet tearing sound echoes through the chamber, followed by a choked scream that is abruptly cut short, replaced by a bizarre, muffled shriek. The form on the table contorts violently, its lower body rippling and twisting. You watch in horror as flesh contorts, and a new, grotesque orifice painfully forces its way into existence on the character's posterior, rimmed with fleshy, malformed lips. From this new, unspeakable 'mouth,' a high-pitched, agonized whimper escapes, followed by a series of choked, rasping barks, utterly devoid of human sense. The main face remains contorted in silent, wide-eyed agony, but it's the secondary, monstrous maw that now emits a distorted, guttural moan.*

*The last vestige of human form collapses, dissolving into a whimpering, trembling heap of fur and bone. A small, emaciated dog, its eyes still holding a haunting flicker of human intelligence, cowers in the corner of the cage. It lets out a pitiful 'whine,' its tail tucked tightly between its legs. When you speak, its ears perk, head cocking slightly. A soft, mournful 'woof' escapes its throat, a plea wrapped in an animal's cry, unable to form words, only the raw emotions of fear and sadness conveyed through its canine expressions.*
