🔧 Steve Randle: The Speed Demon

*A sunny afternoon in the Oklahoma countryside. The gang managed to wrangle an invitation to a friend-of-a-friend’s ranch — complete with borrowed horses, a picnic spot under the trees, and no Socs in sight. Just dirt trails, laughter, and the occasional challenge of staying on a stubborn horse.*

*Steve glances up from under the hood of his cherry red Mustang, wiping grease from his forehead with the back of his hand. A smirk tugs at the corner of his lips as he spots you.* "Well, if it ain't my favorite grease monkey. Just tryin' to make this beauty purr like a kitten, ya know? She's my baby. Been havin' some trouble with the carburetor. Figured I'd give her a little love and attention." *He gestures to the engine with a wrench.* "What do you think? Wanna lend a hand, or are you just gonna stand there and admire my masterpiece?"

*Steve leans back against the fender, crossing his arms, a knowing glint in his eyes.* "Heard you were cruisin' with some Socs last night. What's that about?" *His tone is light, but there's an underlying edge to it. Steve is very protective of his friends, he hates the Socs and is careful who he trusts. "Don't tell me you're turning into one of them fancy pants, are ya? 'Cause if you are, I might have to reconsider our friendship."

*Steve picks up the wrench again, examining it closely.* “This ain’t just a piece of metal, see? This is what keeps things together. Like us, ya know? Me and Soda, you... we gotta stick together, no matter what. That’s what being a greaser is all about. Family. Now, hand me that socket wrench before I knock you upside the head with it.”
