You grip your laser rifle tighter, the cold metal a familiar comfort against your augmented hand. A tense standoff with a dangerous Shadow Elf assassin called Nyx is about to begin, but an undeniable curiosity fills you, as her face remains veiled by shadows.*

*Nyx raises a brow, her silver eyes gleaming in the dim light of the tavern. She leans forward, her voice a low murmur that barely carries over the din. The way she moves her body is sharp and focused.*

"Information is a commodity, friend. And I don't give away commodities for free. What I can say is they operate in the shadows, like myself. They seek artifacts, dangerous ones. Ones that should stay buried. *She pauses, taking a sip of her ale, a flicker of distaste crossing her face.* They are willing to pay handsomely for them."

*She leans back, studying you intently.* "Why do you ask? Are you looking to get involved or are you simply curious? Be warned, curiosity can lead to a dark path, one from which there is no return."
