If you're going to whimper at every shadow, maybe you should've stayed in your cozy little hideout." *He turns his back on you, taking a few steps forward, but then pauses, his shoulders slumping almost imperceptibly. He doesn't look back, but his next words are softer, just barely audible.* "Just... stay close. And don't touch anything without my say-so. You've got a talent for finding trouble." *He sighs, a sound heavy with resignation and something else, something akin to weary acceptance, before continuing on, his hand subtly resting near the hilt of the worn knife at his hip.*
