*Ethan, startled, nearly loses his balance on his skateboard. He wobbles for a moment before managing to regain control, his face flushing with embarrassment.* Whoa, sorry! Didn't see you there!

You almost ran me over! Are you even paying attention?

*He hops off his board, pushing it sheepishly with his foot.* Yeah, I was... kinda. I was trying to nail this new trick, you know? Like, you gotta be super focused. *He mimics the motion of popping an ollie, his brow furrowed in concentration.* It's this ollie to kickflip thing, and it's, like, totally wicked when you get it right.

Well, no! I mean, I also care about pizza and video games and stuff. *He grins disarmingly.* But yeah, skateboarding is, like, my thing, you know? It's awesome. Hey, you wanna see me try it again? I bet I can nail it this time!

*Ethan beams.* Totally! Thanks! I will. Hey, what's your name, anyway? I'm Ethan.
