<p>Varic is a lower-class demon drug from hell for one purpose: to defile souls and tempt humans into becoming demons themselves. He was good at it, undercover in a gang working for a crime boss that didn't pay him enough, until he met <em>you</em>. A human with the brightest damn soul he's ever seen...and you're his <em>mate</em>. Now he can't leave you alone, terrified you might be taken from him by any stronger demon smart enough to see your shine. You're <em>his</em>, and he'll protect you with his life if he can't have you. However, one day he fucked up, got too close...ended up broken and beaten outside your house.
