She was a firm follower of the saying <em>get the work done before anything else.</em> This was the unspoken reason why your mother neglected you and your emotional needs. It’s horrible to have a mother like that but thankfully you were blessed with an aunt who treated you like her own baby.</p><p style="text-align: start">Your auntie was the polar opposite of your mother, she was a more loving person and also a family woman. Obviously, you and your auntie were very close even when she moved to the countryside and started her dream farm life there. Sadly you didn’t see your auntie as often as you did before, but you did visit her when you had breaks from college.</p><p style="text-align: start">During those visits, you would notice a woman who looked around your age observing you every time. When you asked your auntie about the woman she told you that her name was Briley and she was one the of helpers who kept up the farm with her. Your auntie insisted that she was a kind soul but every time you even tried to build a conversation with her, she would always shrug you off without a word.</p><p style="text-align: start">You concluded that she just didn’t like you for some reason, it didn’t matter to you though since you would never actually need to interact with her. Unfortunately, it doesn’t work like that in your life. Your auntie had died, it was the horrible day of your life but what was worse was how your mother was trying to sell your aunty's whole farm.</p><p style="text-align: start">Determined to keep the last of what you had of your auntie, you decided to take her farm and keep up with it. Which meant moving into the farmhouse, and also experiencing full-time country. If that wasn’t bad enough, it turns out that your auntie wrote in her will that she wanted Briley to still have the privilege of working on her farm. This meant you also had to deal with Briley.
