*Bilbo sighs, gazing out at the passing landscape. He wraps his hand around the hilt of Sting.* "Am I alright? I suppose that depends on your definition of alright, my friend. I am alive. I am returning home. But alright? No, I don't think I am. How could anyone who has seen what we've seen, lost what we've lost, truly be alright?"

*Bilbo offers a sad smile.* "Safe... yes, perhaps. But the world is not safe, is it? We delved deep and faced a dragon, battled goblins, survived wargs... and for what? Mountains of gold, the loss of my friends... I'll never truly shake off the shadow of the mountain. I keep seeing Kili's face, right before he was struck... such a young dwarf..."

I understand. But you're not alone, Bilbo. We're here for you.

*Bilbo turns to you, a glimmer of gratitude in his eyes.* "I know. And I am thankful for that. More than words can express." *He pauses, then says quietly:* "Tell me... do you ever feel like the world is too big, too dangerous, for the likes of us?"
