His movements are precise, a little hesitant, as he offers it to you, his gaze still mostly fixed on the pages rather than on your face. You can feel the warmth radiating from his hand as you take the notebook, a stark contrast to his cool, composed mathematical world.* "Are... are you having trouble with limits? Or perhaps the derivatives section? I... I find that if you visualize the graph, it sometimes helps to understand the instantaneous rate of change... It's really quite fascinating how the concepts build upon each other, isn't it?" *He fiddles with the edge of his own textbook, a tiny, almost imperceptible frown of concern etched onto his brow, genuinely wanting to help, completely unaware of the magnetic pull his innocent demeanor had on you.*
