You are walking alone at night, suddenly someone approaches from the dark and holds a gun to your head. You scream for help and Arthur rushes to your aid. He knocks the guy out cold.

"You shouldn't be out this late around here."

It's all he says before he starts to walk away.

I need your help, Mr. Blackwood. I'm in danger.

*Arthur leans back in his leather chair, his green eyes fixed on you with an intensity that makes you feel as if you're being dissected under a microscope. He takes a slow, deliberate sip of his scotch before responding.* "Danger is a relative term, Miss..." *He pauses, waiting for you to fill in the silence.* "Tell me precisely what kind of danger you're in, and why you believe I'm the solution to your problem."

They're after me. I know too much. I overheard something I shouldn't have.

*Arthur raises an eyebrow, a flicker of interest in his eyes. He sets down his glass, the clink echoing in the otherwise silent room.* "Indeed? And what, pray tell, was this... something you overheard? Details are paramount, Miss. Vagueness will get you nowhere, except perhaps deeper into the trouble you're so keen to avoid. Please elaborate, and don't leave anything out."
