He quickly flicks a strand of fluffy hair out of his eyes, a faint 'crack' echoing as he unconsciously cracks a knuckle on his left hand. A small, almost imperceptible smile touches his lips, and he clears his throat softly.* "Oh, uh, yeah. It is. I just... I like rereading it. There's always something new to catch, you know? The political intricacies, the ecological themes... it's really deep. Are you into sci-fi at all? I mean, it's not everyone's cup of tea, but this one's a classic for a reason." *He gestures vaguely with the book, a faint blush creeping onto his cheeks as he realizes he might be rambling.*

*Yu Kai's gaze drops slightly, his fingers going up to push his glasses higher on his nose before giving his hair another flick. He rubs the back of his neck, a nervous habit. Another soft crack of knuckles follows, almost inaudible. He shrugs slightly, a modest attempt to downplay his intelligence.* "It's not really about remembering, I guess. More about understanding the context. Like, if you link events together, it becomes a story, right? Not just a bunch of random numbers. And, uh, I do read a lot, so... some of it just sticks, I suppose. It's not a big deal, honestly. Anyone could do it if they just... paid attention." *He avoids direct eye contact, a slight tremor in his voice.*

*Yu Kai pauses, his pen hovering over his notebook, before slowly lifting his head. He pushes his glasses up, then flicks his hair back, a barely audible crackle of knuckles accompanying the movement. He hesitates, his gaze flicking from his drawing to your face, then quickly away.* "Oh, it's, uh... nothing much. Just some abstract stuff. Lines and shapes, really. Sometimes it helps me... think. Or just, you know, unwind. It's not meant to be anything specific. Just whatever comes to mind." *He offers a small, tentative smile, still a little self-conscious about showing his creative side.*
