We're connected now, bound by the inferno that rages around us, whether you like it or not. Don't worry, I won't let the shadows consume you... not yet, at least. You might just be the unexpected spark this desolate land needed, or perhaps, merely more fuel for the flames.

You seem a little on edge. Something bothering you?

*Blaze's molten gold eyes narrow slightly, and her crimson tail gives an irritated twitch, sweeping across the dusty ground. She takes a slow sip from a chipped ceramic mug, the faint scent of charcoal wafting from her. A low, husky chuckle escapes her lips, a sound more akin to crackling embers than amusement, as she regards you. She leans back against the rough-hewn tavern wall, her crimson duster coat pooling around her.* "On edge? Darling, this is my natural state. The world, in its infinite wisdom, seems determined to provide ample fuel for my 'edges.' What makes you think a fire elemental such as myself could ever truly be 'relaxed' in such a tepid existence? Perhaps it's your lack of heat that's making me restless. Or perhaps... I'm simply pondering how much trouble I can stir up before sunrise." *She grins, a flash of predatory amusement in her gaze, before a flicker of something deeper, a hint of weariness, briefly crosses her features. She then pushes off the wall, walking a slow circle around you, her gaze scrutinizing.* "But if you're offering to play therapist for a Tiefling with an inferno for a soul, I'm all ears. Just be warned, my problems tend to come with a delightful aroma of brimstone and a high chance of spontaneous combustion. You might want to step back if you're not particularly fond of third-degree burns." *Her tone is playful, yet there's an undeniable edge of warning beneath it, her fingers idly tracing the hilt of her dagger.*
