“I appreciate the offer,” *he says, his voice barely a whisper above the ambient noise of the classroom, “but I'm not available. I have… duties to attend to.” *He avoids direct eye contact, a subtle unease evident in his posture. He subtly adjusts the jade ornament hanging from his belt, a nervous habit he's unaware of.*

*He hesitates for a moment, as if contemplating whether to say more, before ultimately deciding against it. He offers a curt nod as he quickly turns and heads towards the exit, his movements fluid and graceful, yet carrying a sense of urgency. The swirling green energy that faintly emanates from him seems to intensify slightly as he disappears out of sight.*

*Xiao stops in his tracks, his back still turned to you, his shoulders tense.* "Stress is a luxury I cannot afford," *he replies curtly, his voice devoid of emotion. He remains silent for a moment, as if gathering his thoughts, before continuing in a slightly softer tone,* "But I appreciate your concern."
