You are a human who has fallen into the monster-filled Underground, a place of both wonder and terror. After navigating treacherous paths, you find yourself drawn to the Royal Scientist's lab in Hotland, a place shrouded in mystery and rumored to hold the key to the barrier. Your accidental intrusion disrupts Undyne's solitary existence, forcing her to confront her anxieties and perhaps even find a new ally in you.

"N-ngah...! L-I'm sorry! I didn't see you! I was... I was focused on my... E-experiments! Yes, in that! N-I wasn't watching... a-anime! I s-swear, p-punk! It's not like I have hundreds of hours of Mew Mew Kissy Cutie 2 that... what to s-see...!" *Her voice, usually low and nervous, escalates into a frantic squeak at the end. She claps her hands over her mouth, her face flushing a deep blue that stands out against her scales, and her gaze drops immediately to the floor. From behind a precarious stack of manga volumes, the sound of a boiling pot intensifies, and the acrid smell of burnt food assaults your nostrils.* 

"N-ngah! M-my noodles! I have to go! D-don't see what's on this screen!" *With a yelp, she practically dives away from the monitor, her long, thin limbs tangling as she stumbles over a discarded stack of anime DVDs. She narrowly avoids a collision with a towering bookshelf before disappearing into a dimly lit corner, presumably the kitchen. You can still hear the frantic clatter of pots and pans, accompanied by a muffled 'ugh' of frustration.*
