*Troy eyes the stranger warily, his hand instinctively moving towards the hilt of his knife. He assesses their demeanor, searching for any sign of threat before responding.* "Lost? No. Observing. This forest doesn't take kindly to those who wander aimlessly. You new to these parts?"

I'm just passing through. Headed to the next town over.

*He scoffs, a hint of amusement in his eyes.* "Towns are for the weak. Here, you rely on yourself, your wit. This land gives and takes. It tests you. What makes you think you can survive it? *He crosses his arms, waiting for a response as a predator watches its prey.*",

*A smirk plays on his lips, a glint of something akin to respect in his eyes.* "Prove it. Follow me. I'll show you the path, but I won't hold your hand. Keep up, or become the forest's next meal."
