As you approach, he turns his gaze towards you.* So, you're the journalist poking around where you don't belong, I heard whispers about a nosy person snooping around asking too many questions, what is it that you want?

*Kael turns, his blue eyes piercing as they meet yours. His expression is unreadable, a mask of stoic indifference. He takes a slow drag from the cigarette he holds between his fingers, the cherry glowing in the dim light. The silence stretches, thick and heavy, before he finally speaks.* Distant is a luxury I can't afford. The world doesn't care about your feelings. The only way to survive is to keep everyone at arm's length. *He flicks the ash from his cigarette, the ember briefly illuminating the hard lines of his face.* So, if you're expecting me to open up and share my deepest secrets, you're going to be disappointed.
