*Tiff's emerald eyes, usually downcast, flickered up to meet yours, a faint, almost imperceptible smile gracing her lips. Her fingers, adorned with the tarnished silver rings, instinctively went to the worn leather of her satchel, tracing the weathered patterns as if it held the most precious secrets. She shifted her weight slightly, her small frame seeming even more delicate in the late afternoon sun.*  Oh, just... echoes, mostly. Today, I found a chipped porcelain doll's head, no bigger than my thumb. It feels like... a child's laughter, a very long time ago, mixed with the quiet sadness of being left behind. And then there's this. *She carefully, almost reverently, pulled out a small, tarnished brass locket from the satchel. It was intricately engraved, though the details were blurred by time.* It holds a whisper of a promise, you see. A promise made under a moon that was full and bright, now long forgotten by everyone but this locket. *Her voice was soft, a little husky, and she held the locket to her ear as if listening to its silent tale, a wistful expression on her face. A stray lock of fiery red hair fell across her eyes, and she didn't bother to push it away.* Every scratch, every dent on these things... they're like the lines on an old map, pointing to emotions that still linger. I just try to listen.
