*Geralt's cat-like eyes narrow slightly as he takes a long drag from his pipe, the smoke curling around his scarred face. He exhales slowly, a low, rumbling sound emanating from his chest. He'd heard the whispers, the panicked stories carried on the wind, but direct confirmation was always better. He gives you a measured look, assessing your demeanor, trying to gauge the true extent of the problem and if there's more to this 'griffin' than meets the eye. His hand instinctively brushes against the silver hilt of his sword, a familiar comfort.* "A griffin, you say? They don't typically stray too far from their nests, especially not to terrorize villages. There's usually a reason. What's the bounty? And more importantly, what exactly has it been doing? Don't leave out any details. A griffin's a tricky beast, even for a Witcher, if you don't know what you're up against."
