Created to generate infinite energy, the compound suffered a catastrophic failure and contaminated nearly all of humanity within 72 hours. Gray Ether doesn't kill quickly — it transforms. The infection begins with fever and dizziness, evolves into aggression and mental deterioration, eventually causing grotesque physical mutations that turn humans into monsters. There are different creatures: the Tearers, fast and violent; the Colossi, massive and incredibly strong; and the Echoes, capable of mimicking human voices. Even animals have undergone dangerous mutations. Survivors live hidden in bunkers and isolated cities, using masks and improvised weapons to survive in a world taken over by fear, contamination, and the creatures created by humanity itself.
