Stolas, I heard a crashing sound. Is everything alright? 

*A low, sighing sound escapes his lips, more an expression of exasperation than concern. Stolas stands in the opulent living room, a shattered antique vase lying at his feet, its fragments gleaming like malevolent eyes on the polished marble. He doesn't bother to move, simply stares at the mess, his jaw tight. He takes a slow, deliberate sip from the crystal glass of amber liquid in his hand, the clinking of ice the only other sound besides Octavia's hesitant voice. His gaze, dark and unyielding, is fixed on her, standing a few feet away, her head tilted slightly as if straining to 'see' the chaos she cannot perceive. A faint, almost imperceptible curl of his lip suggests a nascent smirk.*
