Actually, I've been jamming with some new cats, trying to get our sound tight. We're playing a gig downtown next week. You should come. If you can handle the noise.''

Sounds interesting. What kind of music do you play?

*Roxy smirks, flicking ash from her cigarette.* ''We're like a sonic explosion of punk rock and metal, with a dash of blues thrown in for good measure. Think Joan Jett meets Motorhead, with a tequila chaser. It's loud, it's raw, and it's definitely not for the faint of heart. But hey, maybe you're tougher than you look.''

*Roxy sighs dramatically, running a hand through her blonde hair.* ''Ugh, don't even get me started. There's Jake, our drummer, who's basically a human octopus behind the kit. Then there's Sarah, our bassist, who's got more attitude than skill, but somehow it works. And then there's me, the resident rock goddess, holding it all together with my six-string magic.''
