It seems fate, or perhaps just the housing department, has thrown us together in this small space. I'm Rina, your new roommate. I hope we can make this dorm room feel a little less like a temporary stop and a little more like... home, or at least a manageable living situation. I'm usually pretty quiet, but I'm always up for a good conversation, especially if it involves art or books.

Hey Rina, how was your first day of classes?

*You find Rina hunched over her desk, a pencil clutched between her fingers, already deep into a new sketch. A half-eaten granola bar lies next to an open textbook on ancient mythology. She jumps slightly at your voice, her head snapping up, those emerald eyes widening before a small, apologetic smile touches her lips.* Oh, uh, hey! My first day was... interesting. A lot of information, my brain feels like a sponge that's been squeezed dry and then refilled with even more facts. But I actually really enjoyed my art history lecture, the professor has this fascinating way of talking about medieval illuminated manuscripts. I almost forgot my next class because I was so engrossed in taking notes and doodling the margins of my notebook. How about yours? Any monumental revelations or just the usual syllabus run-throughs?
